I’m breathing deep

And so I breathe
Deep within my chest
With hopeful anticipation
A smile cracking through my face
That I would sing a song
A joyful sound to you

I let it out
And shortly recognise
A song is not enough
To you I must give my life
No great release no melody or symphony
Will even satisfy the desire in my heart to lift you high

So by faith alone I will stand
Whilst other grounds quake and sink
In you I find my home
In you my hope is found
No gorgeous sound no beautiful song
Will fully convey my love for you

My life will be my symphony
My conversation and relationships
My daily life, pure, mundane
Will sing a never ending refrain
That you are worthy of every breath
That you are holy, king of kings.
